Corporate Social Investment

Ovations’ corporate social investment (CSI) strategy aims to:

  • Grow South Africa’s base of information technology and business skills to the benefit of the country’s economy through our broad-based black economic empowerment goals
  • Assist in the upliftment of impoverished communities and providing support to disadvantaged people

Since 2009, Ovations has been actively involved in supporting Oliver’s House charity organisation. Oliver’s House has embarked on a project to create a village (Oliver’s Village) to accommodate, treat and educate the AIDS orphans in its care. Ovations has provided support by way of donations in the form of funding as well as participating in the distribution of food parcels to the residents of the Zenzele informal settlement as well as our regular visits to the children at the day care centre.

Ovations also has been donating funds to The Hope Factory since 2009. The Hope Factory focuses on improving the lives of unemployed people through training and equipping them to create wealth and become financially productive. Operational since 2001, The Hope Factory has put almost 700 people through its 15-week training courses which cover a range of technical, business and life skills.

In 2011 we expanded our CSI reach to The Lighthouse Baby Shelter, an organisation that provides a safe haven for abandoned babies/ children since its establishment in 2008. Ovations contribution is received on a monthly basis in the form of basic necessities for the children per the organisations wish list.
